The retail portion of Oakwoods, Oakwoods Centre, has been rezoned to E4.

Park Servicing and Infrastructure Underway
Action for the 2014 construction season is starting in earnest at Oakwoods.
Along North Service Road, tenders have been let for the connection of the sewer connection from the Park to the existing servicing, in advance of the Town of Oakville’s major reconstruction project to extend North Service Road over to Ford Drive. This project, which is planned to start at the beginning of May 2014, will connect North Service Road with the westbound QEW Ford Drive off-ramp and will provide easy, direct highway access.
Final touches are being put on the engineering designs for the new Ironoak Drive and balance of the Park infrastructure, including major improvements to Joshuas Creek Drive and the rearrangement of the parking areas at Joshua’s Creek Arena. This work is ready to be tendered in March 2014 and construction is expected to begin in May.
Oakwoods Centre’s 7-Arce Parcel Rezoned to Retail C3A
The Oakwoods development, located in Oakville, Ontario, has successfully rezoned approximately 7 acres of the property at the corner of Joshuaís Creek Drive and Upper Middle Road from E1 (employment) to C3A (commercial). This rezoning allows for a variety of retail sales and supportive commercial uses including banks, restaurants and retail stores.
